Chris King designed the first sealed bearing headset in 1976. Thirty-two years later, the King headset remains a benchmark for quality. No other bicycle component can claim the precision, performance and absolute reliability of a Chris King headset.
At Chris King Precision Components, the manufacture of each headset is done in their own facility to exacting standards, using quality-at-the-source methods to minimize waste. Even the sealed, cartridge style bearings are made in-house and are hand-checked. Post-anodization laser-etching ensures crisp detail and durability of external marks.
King believe so much in their component that they offer a 10-year warranty on all models.

As a low-stack style headset, the press-in cups and bearings are housed within the headtube allowing for an overall lower ride height. InSet compatibility can also conform to forks with tapered steerer tubes. Aluminium cups house Chris King's legendary bearings; all made in-house in their Portland, Oregon facility. Sale Price -Brand Chris King Model Year Sizes Available Features Spacers are an important link in properly setting up your headset. While used to adjust the height of your stem, they transfer important alignment from the bottom of your stem to the top of the headset. Lacking exactness, there will be little you can do to achieve and maintain proper adjustment. While spacers are simple in their design and duty, there is no more room for compromise here.
Chris King precision headset spacers are made to the same exacting standards as their headsets. Each spacer is lathe-cut from high-grade aluminum bar stock in a single operation ensuring exactness of size, concentricity, and parallel surfaces.
Chris King Precision Components headset spacers are available in diameters of 1”, 1 1/8”, and 1/1/4” and in heights of 3mm, 6mm, 12mm, and 25 mm. All of the standard colours are offered. Finish off those last details with style and precision.
